Denver has no shortage of Broncos analysis. What it does not have is a photographer on the sideline at a 4A quarterfinal, or a writer who can explain why CU changed its volleyball rotation in October. That gap is the reason FRSN exists.

Professional sports, including soccer (NWSL and MLS), where it connects to the players and programs we already follow. A Colorado kid signing a professional contract is a high school story before it is a pro one.
How we work
We attend the games we cover. Every photograph on this site was taken by our staff at the event it depicts. We do not run wire photos, we do not run submitted images without saying so, and we do not write about games we did not see.
Coverage decisions are ours alone. Schools, athletic departments, and advertisers have no say in what we publish or how a game is described.
Why photography matters here
Most outlets covering prep sports run one photo, if any. We run galleries, because a season is the thing families remember and almost nobody is documenting it properly. The photography exists to serve the coverage, not the other way round.
